Who it's for
You're new to the craft and want the complete pre-apprenticeship path — from your first clipper cut to workforce-ready. No experience required, just commitment. You'll train in a small, capped cohort with one-on-one chair time from barbers who've spent decades behind the chair.
Week by week
- Weeks 1–2
Foundations
Tool handling, sanitation and workplace safety as daily habit, consultation basics, and your first supervised cuts.
- Weeks 3–4
Clipper control
Guard work, fading fundamentals, and tapers — the backbone of modern barbering, drilled until it's second nature.
- Weeks 5–6
Shear work
Scissor-over-comb precision, texturizing, and the hand skills that separate a good cut from a great one.
- Weeks 7–8
Beards & line-ups
Beard and mustache grooming, shaping, crisp line-ups, and the details clients judge you by.
- Weeks 9–10
Straight-razor service
Classic straight-razor shaves and hot-towel service delivered with modern safety and precision.
- Weeks 11–12
Chair-ready
Full-head styling and finish work, mock services, customer service and professionalism, and career preparation.
Graduate from a career-focused pre-apprenticeship with the technical fundamentals, professional habits, and customer-service skills shops look for in entry-level barbers — ready to step into a shop role or a formal apprenticeship, with career guidance and employment support after your final week.
